Senior Advisor - McKinsey, Smart Cities and Infrastructure

As Senior Advisor to McKinsey’s Smart Cities practice, Mr. Kaushik will provide additional guidance to McKinsey’s Pune Smart City project, bring in industry connect to their Smart City projects, and take their engagements with other newer cities forward. In his previous role with CISCO, Mr. Kaushik led the long-term growth initiatives and transformation projects across all the sales verticals in India and SAARC. He was responsible for business verticals of Internet of Everything, Smart cities, India digitization including National broadband infrastructure, education and healthcare, public safety & security, Defence modernization and contact centers.

Mr. Kaushik’s deep expertise and proven ability to close large complex deals helped bring the full power of Cisco to execute on these mega projects and initiatives.

Previously, he was the Director for the Service Provider segment at Cisco India and SAARC. In this role, he was responsible to drive the strategy and sales operations for the segment and worked with Cisco’s SP customers and partners to devise new business models, create and take new value-added services to market, thereby increasing their relevance with their subscriber base.

Prior to Cisco, he has served as Director- Sales at Nortel for 5 years in Service provider domain and prior to that in various sales positions at Lucent Technologies. Mr. Kaushik is a postgraduate in Business Management from BHU and a BE Gold Medal from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
