One Globe Forum

The annual One Globe Forum brings together global thought leaders to discuss how we can build a 21st century knowledge economy in India and South Asia. It is India's leading forum exploring the intersection of technology, innovation, entrepreneurship, economic growth, smart cities, skills, regional collaboration and education and their role in harnessing the huge potential of India and South Asia.

Home to a quarter of the world’s population today, India and the larger South Asia (Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Afghanistan & Maldives) have played a historical role in the development of the world economy. India alone has one of the youngest demographics in the world with 50% of its 1.3 billion people under the age of 25. The demographic is both a challenge and an opportunity.

With an ambitious agenda to transform India by utilizing its potential, the new government has organised initiatives like "Digital India", "Make in India", "Smart Cities" and "Startup India”. In 2020, the ideas, issues and impact of this agenda will be One Globe Forum’s focus.
